Which syringe sizes are available?
Inyathi currently offers complete nylon syringes in 5 ml, 10 ml and 20 ml capacities, as well as a 2.5 ml syringe system for smaller doses.
Are the 5 ml, 10 ml and 20 ml syringes reusable?
Yes. The complete 5 ml, 10 ml and 20 ml nylon syringes are designed to be reusable and durable.
What is different about the 2.5 ml syringe system?
The 2.5 ml system uses disposable plastic syringes with an aluminium plunger and is positioned for higher accuracy with smaller doses. A syringe pack includes five plastic syringes and two silicone O-rings with the aluminium plunger.
Which needles are used with the syringes?
Luer Lock needles should be used with Inyathi syringes. Needles are available in different gauges and lengths; use the Needle Guide for the selection guidance.
Can the outer syringe be replaced separately?
Yes. The outer syringe for each of the three nylon syringe sizes can be purchased separately.
Are replacement O-rings and lubricant available?
Yes. Replacement silicone O-rings and silicone lubricant are available separately as part of the current parts and accessories range.
How do I choose the syringe capacity I need?
